Macquarie Medical Imaging (MMI) is expanding, and we are looking for multiple Radiographers to grow with us. With two permanent positions (2.0 FTE) available, (full time or part time considered) as part of our continued service growth, this is an exciting time to join a high-performing imaging department that is actively investing in its people, capabilities and services.

Working within Australia's first and only fully integrated academic health sciences centre, you will deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. You will be supported by experienced Senior Radiographers and have access to structured development pathways into additional modalities such as CT, MRI, Angiography and Mammography as your skills and experience grow.

About the Role

Reporting to the Lead Radiographer, you will contribute to a safe, efficient and patient-centred imaging service within Macquarie University Hospital. You will be part of a rotating roster, with opportunities to broaden your clinical scope over time (subject to service need, skills and performance).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing high-quality general radiography examinations in line with departmental protocols and best practice
  • Delivering safe, compassionate patient care and clear communication throughout the patient journey
  • Ensuring radiation safety, screening and infection control standards are maintained at all times
  • Collaborating with radiologists, referrers, nurses and the wider imaging team to support timely reporting and excellent service delivery
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and contributing to continuous quality improvement activities
  • Participating in an on-call roster as required

About You

You are a skilled and motivated Radiographer who takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care. You thrive in a collaborative clinical environment, are committed to ongoing professional development and bring a flexible, positive approach to your work.

Selection Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Imaging Technology (or equivalent) and current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner.
  • Demonstrated recent clinical experience in general radiography within an acute or hospital setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and empathise with patients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, managing competing priorities effectively
  • Flexible and positive attitude with a willingness to adapt in a dynamic clinical environment
  • Proactive commitment to quality improvement, safety and ongoing professional development
  • Previous experience in a private hospital environment
